The Children’s Cottage Society (CCS) — which began with a proposal by Faculty of Nursing associate professor, Sandra Reilly —is one of Canada’s top charities, according to Charity Intelligence Canada, a company that researches and analyzes charities to help donors make their giving decisions.
“This is wonderful news especially because the society is celebrating 25 years since the opening of its crisis nursery,” says Sandra Reilly, who wrote the original proposal, secured the funding for the initiative and serves on the CCS board member and chairs the Evaluation Committee.
