By turning to a friendly and fun game of dodgeball, the Nursing Grad Committee raised $600 through a dodgeball tournament on Nov. 4, 2016 in partnership with BOSS Dodgeball League.

The committee has raised nearly $1,200 so far through other initiatives like pub nights and bake sales to support the upcoming nursing grad gala next summer which will take place after the June 2017 convocation ceremony.

“I wanted to collaborate with BOSS Dodgeball League as a creative and fun way to include a community partnership,” says Kimberly Lo, a fourth-year nursing undergraduate student and Nursing Grad Committee member. “This event alone has allowed us to double the total amount we have towards our grad.”

BOSS Dodgeball League is a non-profit sport league that aims to bring the community together by spreading the love for dodgeball.

Stay tuned for more details about upcoming events hosted by the Nursing Grad Committee including a Winter Bake Sale at the end of November.
