Bio

Dr. Nancy Grant joined the Faculty of Nursing as an Associate Professor in 1981 and continued in that capacity until she retired in 1997. During that time she provided leadership in the development of the Masters Program in Nursing, served as Assistant Dean and Chair of the Graduate Program (1984 - 1986) and as Associate Dean, (Programs) [1986 - 1989]. Dr. Grant also took a leading role in faculty affairs as a mentor and colleague. Her research interests included indicators of quality of care as perceived by clients, significant others and nursing staff in long-term care facilities, use of the critical incident technique, burnout, and nursing workload.
