Biography
Dr. Amber Porter joined the Faculty of Nursing in 2018 as a Learning and Instructional Design Specialist, supporting the new Stackable Certificate MN Program. She's passionate about teaching, instructional design, life-long learning, and helping others with their teaching goals. She earned her BSc and BA at Memorial University of Newfoundland, her MA at Western University, and her PhD at the University of Calgary. Her post-secondary teaching experience runs 12+ years and she also holds a sessional appointment in the Department of Classics and Religion in the Faculty of Arts.
