Biography
Dr. Arfan Afzal is a Senior Analyst with the Alberta Health Services, and Adjunct Assistant Professor with the Faculty of Nursing, at the University of Calgary. He received his PhD in Statistics from the University of Calgary.
Dr. Afzal has extensive experience in research and statistical consultation within the health sciences and services setting and involved in diverse public health researches including clinical trials. He has a passion for teaching and provides guest lectures in the quantitative designs and analysis and quantitative research methods courses in the nursing faculty. He enjoys teaching/translating technical concepts to non-statisticians at a simpler and understandable level.
