Biography
Dr. Reay has an extensive background in emergency nursing. In her doctoral work she explored decision making by triage registered nurses using classical grounded theory. She has presented her work internationally and is developing a research program focused on decision making in complex and stressful environments. Dr. Reay teaches research and evidence utilization in the Bachelor of Nursing program. She is co-supervising graduate students.
Her research interests include grounded theory methodology, decision making in complex environments such as critical care nursing and exploring how the work context influences and shapes decisions.
