Biography

Over the past several years Meg has a participated in two rural research projects: one related to research utilization in rural and northern Canada and the other project concerns improving health services available to victims of sexual assault in Southern Alberta. She has co-authored two chapters on Rural Nursing theory in the 4th edition of Rural Nursing: Concepts, Theory, and Practice. Meg is a founding member and Membership Coordinator of the Canadian Association for Rural and Remote Nursing (CARRN) and the CARNA representative to the National Nurse Practitioner Examination Committee for Family All Ages.  Meg practices clinically as a Family All Ages Nurse Practitioner with Alberta Health Services in an Urgent Care setting.
