NURS 221 - Human Anatomy & Physiology I - Fall 2016

The use of lecture and laboratory approaches to introduce students to the study of the human body. it begins with introductory concepts related to terminology and basic chemical processes, then examines cellular physiology and tissues, and subsequently reviews the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems.
This course may not be repeated for credit.

Notes

  • The laboratory component of the course generally parallels and reinforces lecture concepts through the use of tutorials, models, histological slides and computer simulations. Open only to students in the Bachelor of Nursing Program offered by the Qatar Faculty.

Prerequisite(s)

  • Biology 30 or equivalent.
