NURS 222 - Human Anatomy & Physiology II - Winter 2017

A review of some of the important concepts from Human Anatomy and Physiology I and then examines the endocrine, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary and reproductive systems. Physiological processes that contribute to body defences (the immune system) as well as metabolism and temperature regulation are also covered.
This course may not be repeated for credit.

Notes

  • The laboratory component of the course generally parallels and reinforces lecture concepts through the use of tutorials, models, histological slides and computer simulations. Open only to students in the Bachelor of Nursing Program offered by the Qatar Faculty.

Prerequisite(s)

  • Nursing 221 or equivalent.
