Barbara J. Dobbie

PhD (Undergraduate School, Ohio), MSc, BN, RN

Dr. Dobbie joined the Faculty of Nursing in 1976. She assumed the responsibility of Chairing a committee responsible for developing a post-diploma Baccalaureate of Nursing (BN) program. In 1977, she chaired the committee that developed the MN program. Dr. Dobbie contributed consistently to enhance the mission of the University of Calgary and the Faculty of Nursing. She was also instrumental in developing many new undergraduate and graduate courses.
