Shelley Raffin Bouchal

Profile

In recent years Dr. Raffin Bouchal has consulted and presented on topics related to the wellness of palliative care professionals’, families’ anticipatory grief, and the grief of nurses caring for dying families. Her scholarship and research program is in the areas of palliative care, advance care planning and psychosocial/spiritual care at the end of life. She has extensive experience using qualitative methodologies. She serves on numerous internal and external committees including Chair of the Faculty of Graduate Studies Appeals Committee, Alberta Provincial End-of Life Care policy Advisory Committee, Covenant Health Palliative Institute Advisory Committee, Tom Baker Cancer Centre Nursing Council and Conjoint Health Research Ethics Board.
