Profile

Pat has recently launched into a two-year appointment in the newly-created position of Associate Dean,  Teaching and Learning.   She has been a faculty member at the University of Calgary for the past 10 years and has been a key leader in the implementation of the undergraduate curriculum revisions.  She has demonstrated scholarship in several teaching initiatives, including the Peer Leadership/Mentoring project, and research in hospice care, which has been the focus of her clinical expertise. In this new role, Pat assumes responsibility for oversight of the integrity of undergraduate curriculum implementation as well as leadership of scholarship and inquiry related to teaching and learning innovation.  Pat serves as a leader for the Peer Mentoring collaborative network at the University of Calgary and serves on various external committees associated with hospice and community care.
