Message from the Associate Dean, Innovation & Research

Nurses are natural innovators. In the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Calgary this is reflected in our unique and diverse research and scholarship. Our faculty lead research across the life span and nursing’s professional domains – from classrooms to health systems and from our own communities to the world. We are collaborators, co-designers and creators, connecting people to new ideas, evidence and research so that together we can deliver improved health and wellness for all.

We welcome the engagement of our undergraduate and graduate students and post-docs in advancing this work – and we are key partners in UCalgary’s efforts to strengthen transdisciplinary connectivity and partnerships. As the Associate Dean Innovation and Research, it is a privilege to support our exceptional scholars and to continue to seek new ways to build our capacity and showcase the many ways our innovation and research have real world impact every day.
