Ignitor
This award is given to a nominee who truly exemplifies excellence with distinction and is deserving of recognition and celebration.
The UCalgary Nursing Spark Awards working group may choose to select a nominee - from any category - deemed worthy of an award, but who was not selected as the final recipient in the original category in which they were nominated, to receive the Ignitor Award.
Criteria
Meets or exceeds the criteria in their own category OR
May not fit a particular category OR
Were nominated in an incorrect category, but are meritorious in their achievement and activity OR
Achievements and activities merit special recognition and there is demonstrated positive impact on others, commitment to excellence and creating an environment where others thrive and feel empowered
