Ignitor Award

The UCalgary Nursing Spark Awards working group may choose to select a nominee - from any category - deemed worthy of an award, but who was not selected as a recipient in the category in which they were nominated, to receive the Ignitor Award.

This award is for that special nominee who truly exemplifies excellence with distinction and is deserving of recognition and celebration.

• Meets or exceeds the criteria in their own category OR
• May not fit a particular category OR
• Were nominated in an incorrect category, but are meritorious in their achievement and activity OR
• Achievements and activities merit special recognition
