Biography
Jeff Dawes, M.B.A. is an experienced business and post secondary education professional who builds and leads high performing teams. Jeff manages the Faculty of Nursing, Clinical Simulation Learning Centre (CSLC) – an approximately 13,000+ sq.ft. state-of-the-art Simulation Centre located in the Professional Faculties Building on Main Campus. Jeff and his team of nursing professionals design, organize and deliver hundreds of labs and dozens of simulations in collaboration with the academic faculty. Jeff is focused on establishing best practices in nursing simulation and pursuing excellence by way of accreditation of the Simulation Centre.
Before starting at the CSLC, Jeff was an Academic Chair responsible for academic programming at the SAIT School of Health and Public Safety. Prior to that, he spent 20 years in a variety of leadership roles in the private sector, high technology industry.
Jeff is an avid hockey and football fan, enjoys reading history and spending time with his family…and dogs!!
