In Memoriam: Jonah Swen, BN'21
Jonah Swen passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at the age of 35 years.
In May 2021, UCalgary and UCalgary Nursing featured nursing grad, Jonah Swen, in an inspiring story about overcoming remarkable challenges in his life as a student.
Sadly, Jonah tragically passed away on July 27, 2023 in a hiking accident a day before his 36th birthday. However, his positive take on the obstacles presented to him and his overwhelming passion for helping people will continue to live on in those who were lucky to know him.
